It’s been a long 4 days since I arrived in Queenstown and this is the first chance I’ve really had to sit down on the internet.
I arrived here on Tuesday evening, and this is the most beautiful place I’ve ever been. The scenery is constantly awe inspiring. And it just doesn’t stop. I think I’ve seen the most amazing thing ever, and then we find discover something else. It’s been wonderful here completely losing sense of time. While we’ve had appointments we’ve had to wake up for (jumping in canyons, etc) time doesn’t matter here. Combined with the fact that the sun doesn’t set until 10pm, my sense of time is completely out of whack. And that makes it wonderful.
I’m going to be going day by day here with posts as I go back over the week. Some stuff might not come until I’ve returned home, but know that I will. I’ll also be relying on everyone else’s photos for pictures of me, so bear with me if there aren’t that many photos of me.
WednesdayAt the top of the Skyline Gondola they have a downhill track for “luge-ing.” It’s basically go carts driven by gravity. After a couple rounds on the track, we went for a wonderful hike further up the mountain.
Everybody on the chairlift to the luge
