This beautiful creature was quite elusive. After several attempts at spotting him, we were prepared to give up. Then as we were enjoying an afternoon cocktail at the lodge, our guide ran up to us: “The leopard is on the rock.” At first I assumed it was some sort of secret service type code. My trips to Kuang Si were not without incident. Motorbike breakdown on the way there resulting in an hour and a half delay. Then a flat tyre on the way back (we were 5 minutes from a shop and the dude was a speedy pro). I then returned the next day because I didn’t do the hike to the top of the falls. On the way our bus hit a scooter. No injuries, but lots of yelling. Then as soon as I reached the top, the thunder and rain began. But it is a place that lives up to the hype and is absolutely beautiful. And also moon bears (yes, I said moon bear) ⚡️🌖🐻🇱🇦#kuangsi #waterfall #secretpool #backflip #moonbear #laos #isnotchicago
